Question:
Once the pandemic of COVID-19 is over, do you think people will become hyperaware of they are practicing cleanliness and/or how they interact with others? Why or why not?

Here is an article I found about the coronavirus and how it can linger on surfaces. The article teaches readers how to properly sanitize and what to sanitize. I think this article is important because I don't everyone is aware of how the virus can be contracted. I might just be me, but I feel most people are unaware of how many things we touch within a day. Our mouths, surfaces, and other people.

Question: Is our government over or under reacting to COVID-19? Why do you think so? Could the severity of this situation have been avoided? Why or why not?

Here is a video on twitter from The Daily Show’s tweet that shows many members of the Republican party sharing their opinion about COVID-19 during late February and early to mid March. I saw this video on Twitter last week, and after listening to the podcast and reading the New York Times article, it seemed like it would fit into the puzzle. I’m interested in hearing people’s opinion about how our government officials are handling this virus.
I'll add more as I find them.
Remember, we're zooming during our normal class time on Wednesday, April 8. Fair warning: Dr. Fletcher has shaved his face for these mask-wearing times. I'll not spoil my appearance until the zoom session, but to give you a taste of Shorn Dr. Fletcher, here (as promised) is a capture of my old undergrad head shot:
I'll let you judge how closely I resemble that younger me.
Finally, here's your video, a recent cover of "Nothing Stops Another Day" from Ghost. I liked how it seemed like this was someone with a good voice just doing what she can to get by during this crisis.
Remember, Dr. Fletcher loves ya.
